Our courier charges are applicable to customers with UK mainland addresses, excluding ( but not limited to) the following postcodes: BT, HS, IV, AB, PH, PA, DD, KW and all offshore postcodes. We will contact if there is a surcharge to a certain postcode after the order is processed.
If we feel that goods cannot be delivered to a set destination we can refuse the right to do so.
We aim to deliver goods within 8 working days (we cannot specify a time). However we cannot be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time that we quote for that item, please contact us by email. WE WILL TRY AND ENSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER, AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Please note majority of deliveries are made by 1 delivery driver only (The amount of delivery drivers is at the discretion of the carrier company). Please make arrangements to assist the delivering driver to safely off-load the goods when receiving delivery. We recommend that only able body persons assist the delivery driver as some equipment can be very heavy.
Deliveries to flats/apartments will often only be made to ground floor only. Please therefore make your own removal arrangements when transporting goods from drop-off to your required point of designation.
Due to health and safety regulations deliveries above or below ground floor are at the carriers discretion and are not guaranteed this includes (but not limited to) steps that are immediately outside premises, which are required to climb in order to gain access to the property.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS – please allow up to 30 working days and confirmation for special order items, please call for further details. Saturday delivery is available at a further option. Deliveries are between 9.00 am and 4.00pm, extra charges are applicable. Please enquire for Saturday or NEXT DAY delivery option by calling or Emailing our staff, Contact Details. If our courier cannot deliver your goods due to there being no one to accept them, there will be a handling charge. If you refuse to accept delivery of your order for any reason other than the product being damaged in transit, you are liable for all outward and return freight charges incurred by your refusal.
RESTRICTED ACCESS – Due to the size of some delivery vehicles, Gym Mart or any carriers delivering on behalf of us MUST be informed of ANY restrictions regarding access for the delivering vehicles. This includes but not limited to, steps (including those required to climb to gain access to the property entrance), any overhanging / low trees / shrubs, steep driveways, narrow lanes, tight bends or any other restrictions that make it difficult for the delivering vehicle to gain access to the point of delivery. Gym Mart will not accept any claims for compensation arising from none / failed / refused delivery of any item were the carriers or we were not made aware of any points regarding access restrictions. In the event that the item is refused / cancelled due to these restrictions, the customer is liable for all carriage charges and a 15% re-stocking charge will be applied.
INSTALLATION – If you require a product installing, the engineer charge will be £95.00 call out and £40.00 per hour labour charge. If 2 man installation is needed £190.00 call out and £80.00 per hour labour charge.
Warranty and Returns
All new goods are covered by the MANUFACTURER warranty and are returned to the Manufacturers base ( if required ) at your own cost. Please view Manufacturers website to view warranties.
Reconditioned equipment is covered by our 3 month parts and labour warranty.
In the unlikely event of your goods being delivered faulty or damaged, you must contact us within 72 hours either by telephone or email in order for us to arrange for a replacement or possibly a refund. Please do ensure that all products are checked as soon as they arrive.
Goods mishandled or if any accessories (including inner packaging) are missing cannot be exchanged or credited.
We are not responsible for your own shipping costs when returning items to us. We will in turn be responsible for the cost of shipping items back to you.
Any goods returned (after 7 days of delivery date) that were purchased in error will be subject to handling and re-stocking charges of 20% of the original goods value. Any goods returned under warranty and tested not faulty will be subject to a handling charge of 15% of the original good value before return shipping.
In accordance with Regulations, an order can be cancelled in writing within 7 working days of delivery if boxed with all original packaging. The product should be in unused and in perfect condition, whereby a refund will be provided less the costs of carriage. The goods have to be sent back at your own cost.
Shortages and Damages
You must keep all packaging. Under the terms of warranty you will be required to re-pack any faulty items in the original packaging for return to Gym Mart.
When the delivering carrier brings your order you must count the pieces you receive and look for any damage. It is noted on the carrier’s delivery note the number of boxes you should receive. If the number of boxes you receive does not exactly match number of pieces on the carrier’s delivery note, you must note the number of pieces you received on the delivery by your signature. Damage to the equipment / packaging must be noted on the delivery note next to your signature. The words UNEXAMINED OR UNCHECKED will be not accepted as a conditional signature. You must cross out delivered in good condition from the carrier’s delivery note. It is very important to check your order. A signature is an acceptance that you have received the whole order in good condition. Any shortages or damages must be reported to Ultimate Fitness with 72 hours of signing. Neither Ultimate Fitness nor the carrier can be held responsible for shortages or damages if you do not note them on your delivery note. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of the goods being faulty. All damage and shortage claims must be filed with the carrier, therefore Ultimate Fitness are subject to the carriers terms and conditions.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
If you wish to cancel your order:
(a) you can notify us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone or fax before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
(b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 1 below.
1. You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 7 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.
2. Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required. If Ultimate Fitness has organised pick up of the product the charge for this will be deducted from the refund.
3. The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 2 will not apply in the following circumstances: –
-In the event that the product has been built (if applicable) and used.
-The packaging is not in acceptable condition to send the product.
-(The provisions of this clause 3 do not affect your statutory rights.)
